for presenters

Oral presentation

The oral presenter will have 8 minutes for the presentation and 4 minutes for discussion. The presenter must prepare a PPT file. The recommended ratio is 16:9, widescreen.

THE USE OF THE OFFICIAL TEMPLATE IS NOT MANDATORY.

The presenter must bring the presentation on a flash-drive to the event and upload it on the Media Desk Room at least 3 hours before the talk.  

Important: If your presentation contains links to video files, it is essential that you bring not only your PowerPoint file, but also your original video files on the flash-drive. The preferred video file formats are .MPEG or .MP4, but .WMV and Flash video files are acceptable. QuickTime, .MOV, video files are not compatible with PowerPoint and should be converted to one of the above formats. All videos should be tested and checked in advance at the Media Desk Room to be sure they will work properly.

If your presentation is in MAC format, it is imperative to check it will run properly in PC in the Media Desk Room. 

Please assemble in your session room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. This will allow time for the Chairs to liaise with the speakers, explain the seating set up and arrangements for questions/discussion following the conclusion of your presentation.It is essential that you keep within your allotted time. Please note each room usually has sessions before and after yours and the time scheduling is tight.

Poster presentation

The poster session will be divided in presentation groups per theme. Each abstract presenter will have 3 minutes for the presentation and a final debate with the chair of the respective presentation group and the other presenters. The presenter must print the poster. The recommend size is 90 cm width x 120 cm height. (DO NOT EXCEED THESE MEASURES).

We will update the website and send a new communication to the poster presenter soon informing the date and time to hang and remove the poster during the Event.
